Intercity Buses' own route 56 page, read on 6 October 2026 in a person's browser (the site refuses automated reading), prints the same departures from Paphos to Limassol (18 on Mon–Fri, 05:45–20:00; 14 on Sat–Sun, 08:00–19:30) and from Limassol to Paphos on Sat–Sun (13, 08:00–19:30), but not from New Port to Paphos on Mon–Fri: 20 departures on the page, 18 in the Ministry data (06:00–21:00 both). The page lists 06:00 twice and a 06:55: the first 06:00 carries the footnote “06:25 makes Chavouza Stop and then Episkopiana”, and the second 06:00 and the 06:55 are marked as stopping only at Agios Georgios Chavouzas and Episkopiana; the data has one 06:00 and no 06:55. Intercity Buses publishes cash paper tickets and Motion-card discounts.
- Buy a single paper ticket from the driver with cash; card payment is not offered on board.
- A personalized Motion e-wallet card is available from authorized sales points for discounted travel.
- Check the operator page before travelling because fares and ticket rules can change.
Good to know
This is one of the easiest intercity hops to fit into a Cyprus itinerary.
- Weekday departures run roughly hourly, but use the posted times rather than an assumed clock-face schedule.
- The operator publishes a separate Saturday, Sunday and public-holiday timetable; check it before a weekend trip.
- The operator notes that Erimi replaces the older Episkopiana stop on some runs.
- Karavella is the main hub for onward Pafos Buses services towards Coral Bay and Polis.
