Worth your time

What Kouklia does best

Kouklia, about 16 km east of Paphos, is built over Palaepaphos, the ancient city with the Sanctuary of Aphrodite. OSYPA route 631 from Paphos Harbour station to Petra tou Romiou stops at the Kouklia archaeological site, and route 630 from Karavella to Pissouri stops in the village.

  1. Sanctuary of Aphrodite

Route 631 stops at the archaeological site in Kouklia, on the old Limassol–Paphos road.

  2. Petra tou Romiou next

The same line continues to Petra tou Romiou, so the two can share a day.

  3. Village stops

Route 630 uses the stops in the village, numbered in the timetable data from “1st Stop Kouklia”.

Good to know

  • Westbound buses on the old road reach a stop about 0.5 km south of the archaeological site first; each card names the stop its times are for.
  • OSYPA’s route 631 page and the timetable data describe the late-evening bus differently; see the card.
  • Route 630 does not run on Sundays.
