Times and trip counts come from the Ministry of Transport’s open timetable data for the week of 5–11 October 2026. Each card is a line this guide follows between Platres and other places on the site. Times are at the Platres stop the card names: departures for buses that leave or pass through, arrivals for buses that end there. Operators change timetables by season and on public holidays, so open the operator’s page before you travel. Some cards are past their date: they show the stops and days only, and their times have been withdrawn.

What Platres does best
Platres (Pano Platres) is the largest Troodos resort, on the southern slopes about 5 km from Troodos Square and 25 km north-west of Limassol. EMEL route 64, the Limassol–Troodos line, runs through the village: up to Troodos in the morning and back down to Limassol in the afternoon, once each way in the week the card shows.
-
On the Troodos line
Route 64 continues from Platres to Troodos Square, so the two can share a day.
-
Wine-village slopes
Platres is one of the Troodos wine villages, on the southern side of the range.
-
Plan around one bus
With one bus each way, the return is the part of the day to plan first.
Good to know
- EMEL’s feed listed service only to 11 October 2026, so the card’s times are withdrawn after that date.
- No other line in this guide reaches Platres.
- Times on the line card are for one dated week; EMEL is the current source.
